Moore Photography · Wedding Planning Guide

Stone Hill Farm sits on 80 acres of central Minnesota farmland and woodland in Eagle Bend, built around a 1950s-era barn with custom woodworking throughout. It's a bit further from the metro than most venues we shoot, which changes the planning conversation in a good way: this is a venue built for a full wedding weekend, not just a wedding day.

The Venue at a Glance

Building Your Timeline Around the Light

Golden hour near the pergola and the open farmland is hard to beat here. We build the ceremony and portrait timeline around that hour whenever the day allows it, with the double-tiered deck as a strong backup spot if the light or weather doesn't cooperate exactly on schedule.

Indoor Backup, No Compromise

The main hall is air-conditioned and heated and comfortably holds the full guest count indoors, so a rainy or hot forecast doesn't put the day at risk. It also means winter and summer weddings both work here without asking guests to be outdoors the whole time.

The Lodging Advantage

Because Stone Hill Farm is further from the Twin Cities, the property offers on-site cabins and camping, which most metro venues simply don't have. If your wedding party or out-of-town guests are staying the weekend, this is worth planning around: it opens up relaxed morning-of getting-ready photos without anyone driving in.
